The Buyer

Wants to buy shares hoping their value will go up over time.

Broker

The Broker

Acts as a middleman between the buyer and the seller. You need a broker to trade.

Exchange

The Stock Exchange

Like a marketplace (e.g., NSE, BSE, NYSE) where trades happen safely and officially.

Trade

The Trade Happens

Buyer places a buy order, seller places a sell order. Broker routes it to exchange, trade is done!

Ownership

Ownership Transfers

Buyer now owns the shares. Seller gets the money. Exchange keeps record of the trade.
